The theme for 2009, Sacred Water: Sustaining Life, featured exhibits, lectures, music, film, art, and more which explored the connection between the role of water in our many faiths and how those roles inspire us to act in the world. Topics included how water has been featured in various scriptures and traditions, and the medical implications, legal considerations and ecological concerns of caring for and preserving one of the earth’s most precious resources: water.
