Today’s programming includes events for families and art lovers. Our Hindu community has put together a fantastic Haven Fire Ceremony and Diwali Children’s Workshop. Our Indigenous cultures will demonstrate how they celebrate the sacred fire of compassion. Reverend Al Shands and Festival Art Curator Ellyn Crutcher will host a guided tour of the many works of art on display throughout the Festival. Also, the Owsley Brown II Portable Planetarium will show presentations about how we were created from fiery stardust. Come to the Kentucky Center for African American Heritage (1701 West Muhammad Ali Boulevard) and join the fun.
