This week’s #WisdomWednesday highlights the Rev. Dr. Kevin W. Cosby during an interfaith conversation of “Faith and Philanthropy” in 2015, presented by the Center for Interfaith Relations and the Community Foundation of Louisville. During his opening remarks, Cosby explains how he teaches the idea of philanthropy to his faith community. He also suggests that the Black church is not only a religious institution, but a counterculture consciousness and the source of liberation, refuge and asylum for the Black community.
