Jeannette Bahouth is co-founder and Executive Director of Young Authors Greenhouse, established in 2017 as a writing and publishing center for young people ages 6-18 dedicated to inspiring young people to recognize the power of their voices and stories. She has worked within the nonprofit and philanthropic sector for nearly 20 years, including for the Humana Foundation and Sarabande Books, where she focused on improving education, promoting literary arts, and advancing causes that amplify the voices and support the wellbeing of young people in Louisville. She has committed her spiritual journey to living through love—discovering and deepening relationships with sources of life in all its forms. Originally from Houston, TX, she received her B.A. from Trinity University in San Antonio and her M.Phil (M.F.A.) in Creative Writing from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland.
