To my older neighbors who live alone, I give weekly packets of quiches from my daughter’s cafe.
To a school where I have most loved storytelling, Harvey Milk Civil Rights Academy, I now donate storytellings on Zoom each week. My traditional tales from many lands reveal surprising rewards that kindness to others — and to nature — can bring. Try and see for yourself, I say.
