This week’s #WisdomWednesday features author and theologian Dr. Christopher Pramuk during the 2018 Festival of Faiths. In this session, Pramuk discusses Thomas Merton and the Feminine Divine, paying special attention the name of Hagia Sophia. He introduces his talk by saying, “If the dominant face of the Bible comes to us in traditionally masculine imagery, wisdom or ‘Sophia’ is the Bible’s more hidden counter-testimony to the hidden face of God.”
